Certified Peer Specialists Job Fair - September 17, 2008

JOB FAIR FOR CERTIFIED PEER SPECIALISTS IN NORRISTOWN ON SEPTEMBER 17TH

10 A.M. UNTIL 3 P.M.  700 E Main Street, 2nd Floor,Norristown, PA

The Mental Health Association is hosting a job fair to recruit Certified Peer Specialists for several of our programs located in Montgomery County.  We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

The qualifications we are seeking are:

Must be certified peer specialist or be eligible to take certified peer specialist training.  We require at least one year of paid employment that would provide the level of knowledge and skill required.

The ability to assist with crisis intervention in emergency situations required.  Also the ability to travel throughout the Montgomery County area and the flexibility in adjusting work schedules if required.

These positions involve frequent interactions with peers who are at different stages of recovery.

High school diploma or GED and valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
