Cardiovascular Account Manager - Upstate NY/New England

Job Description:CV Therapeutics seeks to hire an outstanding individual for the position of Cardiovascular Account Manager (CAM). The goal of the CAM is to identify service and develop sales from key division/region accounts in support of CVT products. This person will work under the supervision of the Division Sales Manager and in adjunct to field promotional efforts to facilitate sales with these key customers. The CAM will also work closely with the Region Business Director to facilitate development of regional OLPP faculty. The CAM will drive product promotion through the implementation and delivery of approved promotional materials, published literature and field-based professional programs. These programs will be designed in conjunction with scientific marketing, product marketing, and field sales leadership. The scope of responsibility includes working closely with the Region Business Directors and Division Sales Managers to implement programs to support field-selling opportunities. This includes implementing marketing driven initiatives; pull through of managed care and government opportunities, while driving ongoing adoption within key cardiac hospital/teaching institutions.

Job Experience:Minimum of 5 years Pharmaceutical experience that includes field sales representative, product management, sales training, and or first hand speaker faculty development. Hospital selling experience is desirable. Cardiovascular expertise or extensive experience with cardiovascular products is required. The CAM will have in depth medical/scientific knowledge to support both technical influencers and user influencers within targeted key accounts. He/she will have outstanding communication and organizational skills and be able to work in a start-up dynamic environment. The individual will have strong interpersonal skills to help drive results at various levels of the organization. He/she will have excellent team skills demonstrated by supporting field selling teams and working closely with CASs, Division Sales Managers and Region Business Directors. Need to have strong computer skills in Powerpoint, Word, and Excel. Demonstrated outstanding product knowledge. Thorough knowledge of marketplace (current and historical). Demonstrated ability to interact with and develop key opinion leaders. Previous successful sales experience. Proven budget accountability and management.
