An overall understanding of quality client service, a proven track record of working in multifunctional teams and across multiple geographies, strong business acumen and the instinct to think and act globally are essential for advancement within Deloitte Services LP.   Job Title:   Campus Recruiter Channel/Function: Human Resources / Deloitte Services LP Location/Department:  Houston, Texas HR Direct Report: MidAmerica Campus Recruiting Manager Primary Client: MidAmerica AERS and target schools Level:  4   Job Overview: The Houston Office of Deloitte has an immediate opening for a Campus Recruiter.  This position will support the Audit and Capital Markets functions and will be part of the Campus Recruiting Team. This person will work with the practice on hiring goals, early identification of candidates and developing strategic relationships with colleges and universities. This position will hire for full time positions as well as the winter and summer internship programs for the Audit and Capital Markets practices.     Job Responsibilities:   Client Relationships   - Work in coordination with the Lead Recruiting Partners and Audit service line leaders to develop realistic goals and recruiting plan. - Ensure that effective teams of client service are utilized on various campuses and during office visit process - Serve as consultant to partners to advise them on recommended recruiting processes - Send regular updates to recruiting partners - Network within the marketplace to understand competition, salaries,and make recommendations to partners based on this knowledge - Make salary, offer structure recommendations based on industry trends - Develop relationships with students to promote a positive image, develop relationships with student business groups -   Planning/Process   - Track and analyze recruiting data (including: interviews, offers, and acceptance ratios, candidate feedback, competitive data) - Ensure accuracy of data within the applicant tracking system - Review offer letters, background check forms - Maintain hiring spreadsheets and statistics to share with HR and recruiting partners.  Review stats to ensure goals are being met. - Serve as point person for Audit client service, HR, operations, Partners - Develop diversity recruiting goals for Audit - Manage intern program by working with HR to ensure expectations are met - Develop new and innovative methods to differentiate Deloitte on campus - Work with closely with recruiting coordinator to ensure effectiveness of process, serve as mentor and develop by giving additional responsibilities   Campus Relations/Events - Develop relationships with faculty and placement office professionals - Determine specific events to attend that are of value and are effective in the pre-identification of candidates. - Attend key diversity events, seek opportunities to promote Deloitte as employer of choice - Ensure correct interviewers are being utilized for campus and office visits - Conduct screening and selection interviews - Promote value of Behavioral Interviewing Process:  serve as trainer and encourage partner buy-in - Possess detailed knowledge of all Deloitte service lines3 to 5 years of experience in a Recruiting / HR related role preferred. Prior experience with a professional services firm a big plus. This role requires proficiency with standard office computer equipment/programs.  35-40% travel andevening work during peak recruiting seasons.
