Job Category:  Manufacturing/Production/Operations Reference Code:  US_EN_1_025158_7643052 Location:  New Haven, CT 06513 Job Status:  Full Time, Employee Job Description:BENDER / FINAL ADJUSTERPerform the functions of bending, forming and adjusting semi-rigid cable assemblies to meet the dimension listed on the blue print.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSUse and operate bending equipment including setting up and running materials. Adjust and manipulate assembly to ensure proper conformity to specifications. Assist in all phases of the assembly process as required. Measure, adjust and visually inspect all dimensions using the proper measuring devices including verniers, height gages, scales and V Blocks. Also use various dial indicator gages to insure specificator requirements. Make final adjustments and assist in all phases of the assembly process. Hold tolerances within design limitations. Work is subject to in-process and final inspection for tolerances and appearance quality.Perform other duties as assigned by the next level of supervision. Keep supervision advised of problems and recommendations to solve them.
