Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Effective technical (camera/editing) skills, self directed, high attention to detail, excellent rapport with people. Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Creates and maintains database of all television and audio/visual equipment on the campus. 2.Trains staff and resident volunteers on the use of television and audio/visual equipment. 3.Maintains department reports and administrative processes. 4.Operates field cameras and editing equipment to produce programming for community channel. 5.Assists the Erickson Community TV/AV Manager with planning for CB2 studio and audio/visual installations. 6.Assists with all recorded and live studio productions as needed. 7.Videotapes assigned events and troubleshoots any difficulties that arise. 8.Trains staff and resident volunteers on the use of television and audio/visual equipment. 9.Operates field cameras and editing equipment to produce programming for community channel. 10.Makes duplicate tape copies for the residents and staff as needed. 11.Provides technical support for resident programming ideas. 12.Updates electronic bulletin board daily. 13.Works with the staff and residents in the development and production of new programming ideas for the community.
