CSS Developer
Rightstaff Inc. is currently recuiting for a CSS Developer for a dynamic, growing company for a client in the North Dallas area.
Job Description
The CSS Developer is assigned within the Information Department and will work at several phases of software development life-cycle, will be personally responsible for front–end application appearance and functionality. The CSS Developer will have extensive experience in developing CSS applications based on MySQL and XML. Additional duties include gathering / specification, designing interfaces, writing code, compliance testing, some documentation, maintenance and some user support capabilities
Skills Requirement
· Bachelors Degree in web technologies, communications, or a related field
· Hand-coding of HTML / XHTML and CSS - you must be able to build a site based solely on a CSS (no tables) layout
· Knowledge of web standards
· Practice clean coding and documentation
· Experience with cross-browser (PC and Mac) and accessibility development
· Familiar with Photoshop and or Fireworks
· Familiar with Linux Apache web server environment and creating XHTML for use with online scripting environments, such as jQuery, PHP & Smarty Templates
· Experience in supporting and developing multimedia systems, including podcasts, video casts and media streaming files
· Familiar with social media applications
· Experience with E-Commerce
· Exceptional organization and time management skills
· Have an energetic and upbeat personality
· Ability to work on multiple tasks in a busy environment
· Highly flexible with time
