Initial salary placement, Step 1.OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for directing activities and providing assistance to student workers and hourly staff in a learning laboratory environment.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:Troubleshoots software and hardware problemsProvides training to faculty, staff and students on equipment and softwareInstalls and tests new softwareMaintains computer facilities databaseInstalls new/replacement hardwareOversees and coordinates team projectsAssists students with computer and software operationCompletes service requests and provides recordkeeping and reportsCreates master software images for computer installationLearns and applies emerging technologies and as necessary to perform duties in an efficient, organized, and timely mannerPerforms related duties as assignedIt is the policy of Mt. Familiarity with educational software supporting reading, writing, math skills and software assisting students with special needs preferred.Recommended candidate for this position will be required to obtain fingerprint clearance prior to beginning employment.
