COMMERCIAL SALES REP

We are adding an Outside Commercial Sales Rep in the Greater Boston area.
POSITION SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for selling and representing the entire Commercial Pella product line. Job duties include: Heavy face-to-face prospecting for new clients in a cold-calling environment, along with servicing and maintaining any existing client accounts.
You will price/estimate projects for new and existing customers, and serve as the primary customer contact for Pella's commercial product line. You will establish long lasting relationships to maximize sales/customer contribution.
Compensation package includes base salary plus commission, mileage allowance, laptop, and nextel. We also offer an excellent benefits package.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will be an energetic, effective communicator who is able to excel in an independent and aggressive sales environment. Must have the ability to research and cold-call to develop business. Additional requirements include:
1. Two to four years of industry related successful commercial sales experience
2. College degree preferred.
3. Good computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Internet) with ability to quickly learn new software
4. Outside sales experience in a competitive, independent and high-volume sales atmosphere.
5. Knowledge of the construction/building industry with the ability to read blueprints and do take-offs.
