Under the direction of the Director of Asset Management (AM), located in the corporate office, works with third party management companies, tenants, and brokers (as applicable) on a day-to-day basis to improve and maintain the commercial portfolio.

We are looking for a team player with a great attitude. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail oriented, able to multi-task in a busy environment and is interested in continuing their career in commercial real estate. Candidate MUST HAVE prior commercial management background.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Responsible for ensuring positive tenant and owner relationsRespond to and assist in the resolution of problems, concerns and questions from tenants, third party management companies, etc.Monitor lease activity; keep Lease Expiration reports currentProvide oversight of contractual services as necessaryReview monthly reporting submitted by 3rd party managers with responses to questions before turning over to AM for approval; to include expense monitoringCollect and review A/R; provide report to AM on problem tenants or re occurring delinquenciesResponsible for Lease Administration on each property. Enter all leases into the database in detail. All assets and tenant leases must be accurate. Print Lease Abstracts for tenant filesMaintain accurate records of tenants certificates of insuranceMaintain commercial filing - create all tenant files in format provided and keep filing currentAssist AM in the annual budget process as directedCollect, review, and ensure CAM reconciliations are done properly at all properties. Work with project accountant on ensuring each lease is placed in the correct expense pool in the database or have a new pool createdKeep real estate tax and insurance worksheet for all properties currentAssist in the Quarterly Reporting to Investors; to include drafting Executive Summaries to collection of current market data from 3rd partiesAbove list is not inclusive of position; various other duties and responsibilities as they arise

Requirements:
Â
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial property management
HS Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Good communication skills and a professional appearance and attitude
Familiarity with accounting software (Yardi or MRI); must have good knowledge of accounting
Must excel at multi-tasking
