GES Exposition Services, a leading tradeshow and event marketing company, is seeking a high energy, growth –oriented professional with demonstrated leadership abilities, integrity and passion for hassle –free service for the position of  CAD Detailer  at our Chicago, Illinois facility. Duties/Responsibilities:   Attend and  participate in project meetings. Prepare  complete and accurate preliminary, construction, and as-built drawings from 3-Dconcepts and designs. Identify value-engineering opportunities and recommend appropriate changes to improve fabrication and installation& dismantle performance. Verify Work Order information with Project Management for accuracy and completeness. Make drawing revisions required by Project Management. Develop and prepare complete fabrication drawings Prepare complete assembly drawings. Become proficient detailing (including layout and piece counts) for GES propriety  systems: GEM, Hardwall and Designer Series. Become proficient detailing (including layout and piece counts) custom exhibit projects including fabrication details for wood, metal and plastic fabrication. Become proficient producing  programs for the CNC Router. Must be able to work overtime as required. Must have good organizational,oral and written communication skills. Other duties assigned by the Manager. Education/Experience:   Associates Degree or technical education equivalent in design / drafting with emphasis in the use of CAD in a3-D environment or equivalent on the job experience. Demonstrate proficiency in the useof AutoCAD 2000 or higher. Minimum 3 years experience usingAutoCAD, Minimum 1year on-the-job 3DModeling experience.
