PLANIT Technology group is seeking a Business/Technical Analyst to be part of the Medical Device Integration Team for our client, a healthcare provider. Position is contract with option to hire.Responsibilities:* Maintains medical device inventory database.* Analyzes IT architecture requirements to implement medical device integration within eCare* Coordinates and performs functional and integrated testing of device integration technology.* Provides post-implementation support of device integration technology.* Collaborates with cross-functional design teams to design process workflows and identify device integration opportunities.* Serves as a primary liaison to outside vendors* Works closely with other integrated medical system teamsRequirements: * Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business or other related field and/or 3 years of comparable work experience* Excellent written/verbal communications* Understanding of PCs, Networks, Terminal Server Configuration* Professional and strong customer service, analytical and problem solving skills* Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio)* Must be able to multi-task and prioritizeDesired:* Experience in healthcare/hospital environment* Working knowledge of Epic and/or other EMR systems a plus* Working knowledge of DataCaptor software, HL7 standard a plus* Understanding of Bedside Medical Device Integration (BMDI) a plusFor consideration, please submit your resume today!PLANIT Technology GroupCorporate Headquarters100 Landmark SquareVirginia Beach, VA 23452Main: (757) 313-6500Fax: (757) 313-6501Toll Free: 800-761-6898PLANIT Technology Group, headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA, is a premier provider of information technology services, infrastructure and business solutions to a broad range of commercial clients within the United States.
