Business Operations Analyst
The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for system and process analysis and development in support of membership operations. Will perform systems and process testing and will represent the membership operations department on cross-functional implementation and testing teams. They are responsible for the development, communication and testing of system definition related to new product initiatives, upgraded or enhanced core system functionality, changes to existing products and compliance with regulatory mandates. They are a liaison between membership operations staff and the IT technical staff. Responsible for supporting procedure review and re-engineering, troubleshooting, quality initiatives and data analysis. They are responsible for process compliance with regulatory requirements and ensuring that system functionality supports compliance requirements. They are responsible for maintaining an expertise in enabling technology, systems, applications and processes related to the support of the membership operations department principles.
Qualifications
A. Four (4) year degree from an accredited institution; extensive experience of enrollment processes and programs may be considered in lieu of degree.
B. Five (5) years experience in operations type environment with extensive enrollment process knowledge.
C. Five (5) years of business analyst type experience or three (3) years in IH enrollment department with demonstrated ability to provide systems analysis.
D. Must be able to understand regulatory requirements and design process and systems support around them; knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government programs preferred.
E. Ability to work collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization, and to understand and articulate complex systems, process and/or concepts with the demonstrated ability to influence outcomes.
F. Demonstrated ability to document complex processes (i.e. create workflow diagrams, procedure development) and analytical skills to prepare and analyze business plans and technical designs required.
G. Understands the importance of maintaining the physical and technical security and privacy of protected health information(PHI).
