SHORT DESCRIPTION:  The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying targets and decision makers to sell Parago products and services to non-traditional prospects as well as developing leads for Senior Account Executives in traditional channels.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Identifying new industries or applications for Parago products and services

· Researching potential industries and applications for applicability, market size, competitive landscape, etc

· Identifying potential decision makers and contact information at prospects

· Preparing sales presentation materials

· Presenting Parago capabilities to prospects

· Making telephonic and electronic contact with potential prospects

· Generating sufficient interest with identified prospects to secure opportunities for capabilities presentation

· Building relationships with prospects

· Performing Lead Generation activities including prospect research, cold calling and lead generation for traditional Parago products and services to traditional targets

· Qualifying leads for size and interest level prior to turning over to a Senior Account Representative

· Facilitating internal and client meetings for hand off to Client Delivery post sale

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

 

· Strong sales presentation and persuasion skills

· Ability to effectively research companies, industries and trends to identify best targets

· Ability to create sales presentations through use of Microsoft PowerPoint

· Desire to cold call to prospects to introduce Parago products and service

· Creative thinking ability to identify new industries or applications for Parago services

· Ability to effectively work independently yet be an extension of Parago and provide “sales leadership� to the internal team

· Knowledge of the Sales Promotion industry is a plus



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  1-3 years previous inside or outside sales experience a must.
