We have partnered with a medical device company located in Franklin Lakes, NJ.We currently have an opportunity for a TEMPORARY Business Analyst. MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MS EXCEL AND ACCESS.Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Operations the Business Analyst is responsible for the US Sales and Medical Surgical data reporting and financial analysis activities. The individual is the SAP BW Super User for US Sales and will be responsible for designing and building reports using the EIM Sales Compensation system, Access, Excel, Cognos and Visual Basic (VBA). They will provide strategic analysis across internal and external data sources including Financial P&L, Distributor and End User data as well as routine and ad hoc reporting. Position will work closely with the VP US Sales Medical Surgical Systems and US Sales Teams offering recommendations for benchmarking and reporting. Position will assist in the implementation of reporting systems for both US Sales and Marketing.Focus and scope of work includes all sales data used by US Sales Medical Surgical Systems, development & maintenance of Access databases, development & maintenance of queries in EIM Sales Compensation database, and ad hoc reporting as requested by Marketing Operations Manager, VP US Sales Medical Surgical Systems, and Field Sales.RESPONSIBILITIES1) SAP/BW Super User for US Sales• Builds and maintains queries in BW to support routine and ad hoc report requests.• Produce and distribute routine monthly reports including Distributor Sales, Sample Expense Detail, etc.2) Query design and reporting from EIM Sales Compensation system.• Builds and maintains queries in EIM to support routine and ad hoc report requests.• Produce and distribute monthly sales reports for West Business Services.• External sales reporting from EIM• Sales Promotion Calculations• Work with Sales Reporting Department to develop standardized reporting methodologies3) Design and implement reports using Cognos reporting.4) Customer Incentive Payment Calculations5) Participate on and support US Sales Teams 6) Attend and participate in monthly US Sales Operations staff meetings.Accountable for • Accurate reporting and analysis as required by the US Sales organization• Maintenance of various databases and queries supporting report requests.• Setting own work direction and completing work tasks• Compliance with all local, state, federal and safety regulations/policies/procedures• Compliance with all local quality policies/procedures/practices through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance principles.Adecco also offers their associates a full benefit package, consisting of medical, holiday pay, service bonus, 401K and tuition reimbursement. Strong Excel, Access and VBA skills required. • Excellent understanding of business analysis techniques and strong data management skills.• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with all levels of management.• BS or BA in Finance, Accounting or related field required. • Relevant continuing education (e.g., workshops, seminars).• SAP and BW experience a plus.
