Building Supervisor/Cleaning

                       

 

A well established New York City nonprofit agency is seeking a full-time Building Supervisor.  He/She will be accountable and responsible for insuring that the custodial client workers assigned to the building or property are performing cleaning services in a qualitative and economical manner and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.  The Building Supervisor is also responsible and accountable for performing inspection, supervisory, and administrative duties in support of the contract.                                                          

 

Qualifications:  Must meet all requirements for work in federal facilities (pass fingerprinting requirement, i.e., no previous felonies); eextensive knowledge and skill in providing custodial services to public and private organizations and technical knowledge of equipment, materials, with respect to office cleaning. Must have 2 to 5 years experience in directing cleaning type operations in a supervisory capacity.  Previous experience fulfilling government awarded service contracts.  Education: High School Diploma needed

 

This position is a full time position with a 40 hour work week, 5pm to 1am with a salary in the mid 40’s.
