Book Personalization Supervisor

The Book Personalization Suervisor reports to the Book Personalization Manager. The Book Personalization Suervisor is responsible for setting work priorities and assuring a smooth transition of work between departments.  The Book Personalization Suervisor interprets policies, procedures and established goals for subordinates.  The Book Personalization Suervisor conducts all training for department and reviews quality of work being completed by employees.

Multiple positions on both 1st and 2nd shift

Specific Duties:

• Plans, directs, and coordinates the daily activities of the Book Print Department.
• Leads a department of QC staff in verifying the accuracy of passport books, the quality of workmanship and ensures the proper delivery of passports to applicants.
• Trains QC staff in work procedures, regulations, and proper postal requirements and assigns and reviews work to team members.
• Responsible for the operation and coordination of all mail pick-ups by the USPS and private carriers.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years related work experience supervising staff in a production environment is required.  (May substitute 5 years of direct supervision of at least 5 people in a production environment for a college degree.)

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks for continued employment.
• Ability to successfully complete a Government Agency Background Investigation/Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced functionality in MS office applications, including Excel and Word
