Billing Coordinator

Gateway Energy Services Corporation, seeks a Billing Coordinator to be responsible for general billing, Parent and Manual.  Under the direction of the Billing Manager, the essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:Ensures that all reads and files from utilities are received, processed and imported in a timely fashion.  This includes both EDI territories as well as non-EDI territories.Processes Bill Runs and gets them to the print house in a timely fashion.Manually processes reversals, cancel/rebills, etc. and checks billing reports to ensure accuracy of rates.Will work closely with utility companies to resolve any issues that may arise including researching billing discrepancies and questions that are assigned by the Billing Manager.Ensures that billing-related invoices received by Gateway are processed and paid in a timely fashion.Will edit bills for customers with special needs.

The right candidate must possess a BA/BS degree and 3-4 years working with customer management databases, preferably in a billing or data management function.  Experience in Utility or deregulated industry preferred.
