JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for Audio/Video Technical Support Installers that will install and maintain sound reinforcement systems and digital audio/video recording systems at various courts (all levels), police agencies, and legislative bodies. Will be responsible for providing customers with technical support on A/V hardware and signal issues. Research and evaluate new A/V products and technologies for our application. Test installed systems for proper installation and operation. Provide signal flow diagrams for planned site installations. Provide in-house support to other departments and interface with the development team. Candidates must be able to travel up to 50% and must pass intensive background checks through the FBI, GSA, Interpol and other agencies as needed. The position is located in our corporate office in North Chelmsford, MA.
REQUIREMENTS:Three years of Commercial A/V installation or High-End home audio experience. Extensive knowledge of audio and video signal flow, mixers, amplifiers, cameras, etc.Detail oriented with the ability to design and install a site start to finish.Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.A/V cable wiring and soldering skills.Ability to work independently or on a team.Ability to read blue prints.Knowledge of how to use electrical and electronic diagnostic tools desired.Basic familiarity with computers and networks.Video conferencing, AutoCAD and Visio experience a plus.Able to supply your own basic hand tools; proprietary tools will be supplied.
