The Media Audience Measurment, Product Leadership Associate Product Managers are specialists who possess intimate knowledge of both product planning and product marketing. The Associate Product Manager works under the direction of a Sr. Product/Product Manager and is responsible for defining and communicating the product's business plan, strategy, product's positioning, target audience, and which features have the most appeal. Specific activities include researching requirements, defining product strategy, identifying release time frames, performing market analysis and proactively managing the lifecycle of the product.QualificationsBe able to look at audience estimates or other media related information that is questionable and show proof of the validity of the data or the concern. Must be able to offer solutions or plans to correct situation when concerns are valid. Must be able to work backwards using whatever level of information has been provided and come to a concrete conclusion, no matter how limited the initial information. Basic mathematics will not be complex, but the nature and peculiarities of the raw data, how the data is stored or the Nielsen specific rules applied may be both obscure and complex.Will also be asked to evaluate new or current data available in raw form and devise marketable business opportunities to leverage that information. This may involve defining how the data will be used, acceptable uses; rule related the use and interpretation of the data or other factors.
