Associate Producer

 SUMMARY:

Working closely with the game producer, the associate producer will be responsible for managing the day to day production/development of gaming products. The associate producer will also work with the Game Designer, Art Director, Sr. Software Engineer to update and maintain the project development over time.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assists with the development and maintains overall project plan to determine resource needs, budget and time

· Participates in strategic planning for new content deployment

· Develops, maintains and prioritizes product roadmap

· Develops realistic production schedules with detailed milestones

· Reviews and evaluates competitive products

· Ensures games meet their target demographic

· Works with marketing to make sure related materials reflect the product

 INTERACTION

This position will interact closely with the Game Producer, Game Designer, Community Manager, Art Director, Sr. Software Engineer and Director of Internet/Technology Development and departmental personnel along with creative services, and marketing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Not applicable EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE

· BA or MA in a related field

· 2+ years working as an Associate Producer, Assistant Producer, Associate Game Designer, Production Coordinator or Product Manager

· Proficiency in the following software or systems:  Microsoft Office

· Ability to travel domestically and internationally on behalf of the Company

· Outstanding attention to detail and ability to write comprehensive documents and communicate those to teams

· Preparation for localization

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Preferred but not required)

· Background in the gaming, entertainment, comic book, toy, trading card, or trading card game industry
