Summary: This position leads the KC-Professional Strategic Pricing and Analysis Team which is part of the overall sector Customer & Business Solutions Organization. Specific responsibilities focus on managing centralized Strategic Pricing and Analysis and providing support for the Sector Leadership, Sales and Strategic Business Teams. The pricing and analysis support includes the development, introduction and maintenance of highly efficient and effective financial, business, analytical, and reporting systems along with programs that support the execution of the sector’s overall pricing strategy. Responsibilities also includes the reporting, forecasting, and analyzing of co-op programs, along with specific channel, segment and national account analysis programsResponsibilities: The incumbent reports to the Director, Customer & Business Solutions and has the responsibility and general authority to make decisions and commit human and financial resources in order to meet Sector and Sales market share and growth goal Leads the Pricing & Analysis Team in a manner that maximizes sector profitability by improving price realization, analyzing and improving customer and sales region profitability, protecting K-C assets through compliance to sector pricing policies, improving customer / distributor relationships, and reducing costs. o The team is directly involved with and accountable for effectively supporting the key Initiatives related to Marketing and Selling Effectiveness, Order to Cash, Customer Touch Management & FORCE. Establish team objectives and define the key strategies to achieve these objectives. Develop, implement, and manage plans and processes for enhancing KCP Sector profitability through improved price/mix realization and supporting analysis. Provide advice, counsel, and financial and business expertise to Sector & Sales Leadership along with the Strategic Business Unit Teams to enhance good decision making and maximize sales and corresponding operating profit. Lead the Sector & Sales Team in the formulation and implementation of business initiatives that improve sector results. Develop and manage plans and processes for advancing and diversifying the business and financial expertise of the Sales Force and Business Teams. Maintain and enhance personal and team expertise on computer based business systems, financial analysis and decision making techniques to ensure the most effective approaches are adopted and to enhance the capability of the key sector decision makers. Provide input to the design of Growth Incentive, Sales Incentive and Co-Op programs to minimize sector expenses and maximizes profit. Ensure standardization and leverage of the program to maximize sector contributions related to Top Line Growth and Bottom Line Cost Savings. Direct the execution and management of the KCP Sector Pricing Strategy along with all appropriate supporting analysis and reporting to ensure maximum understanding and price realization. Direct the development and management of the sector’s pricing and customer profitability systems to improve decision-making, control, customer service, and reduce expenses. Responsible for the integration of new business support systems and corresponding process changes to ensure full benefit realization of new SAP based processes. Ensure application of established corporate financial & internal controls within his/her area of responsibility. Effective implementation and maintenance appropriate financial policies and instructions and ensure the establishment, maintenance and audit of effective and reliable control procedures. Develop and manage plans and processes for advancing and diversifying the technical, functional and personal skills of all team members within Strategic Pricing & Analysis along with co-leading career developmental opportunities within the Strategic Sales and Business Support Team. Respond appropriately to personal career goals to meet the short and long term human resources needs of the business. Participate in specific plans to ensure the achievement of safety objectives for KC Professional.Click here to apply via the Kimberly Clark Career Opportunity PortalJob Experience:Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree • A minimum of 5 years of analytical role • 3 years of people management • A proven track record of leadership to motivate and manage a team of both exempt and non-exempt personnel is critical. • It is essential that the incumbent have background knowledge in the KC-Professional business.o Specifically, an understanding of distributors and distributor processes, pricing strategies and systems is preferred. • Sales, Finance, Logistics, MIS or a Marketing backgroundPreferred Qualifications• Masters of Business Administration and/or Technical degree, or equivalent business experience• Experience in Business to Business Marketing and/or Sales• Ability to work across the business landscape particularly with Customer Touch Management systems, Business Warehouse, and KCP Order to CashOther• Must have skills in motivation, oral and written communication, personal and organizational sensitivity, analyzing, planning, organizing, deputy development, integrity, and decisiveness. • Must have a strong financial and analytical skills and a working knowledge of Kimberly-Clark’s business and sales support systems• Key customers for this position include KC Professional Sector Leadership Team, KCP Sales Leadership Team and Sales Force, KCP Strategic Business Unit Leaders and Segment, Channel and Category Marketers, Category Development Teams, Distributors, End Users and the Director, Customer & Business Solutions.
