Assistant Store Manager
xpedx Paper & Graphics is a leading retailer of specialty and cut-sheet papers, desktop publishing assortments and graphic supplies. Our unique customer base and hours set us apart from other retailers! We currently have an Assistant Store Manager position available at our San Jose, CA location. Our unique customer base and hours set us apart from other retailers (No Late Nights or Sundays)!
Responsibilities including competencies:
Ÿ Excellent customer service skills.
Ÿ Ability to manage all aspects of a retail environment including purchasing, merchandising, hiring and training employees.
Ÿ Strong operational skills including shipping and receiving.
Ÿ Enforce and comply with all company specific safety guidelines.
Competencies: Action oriented, approachability, boss relationships, career ambition, customer focus, ethics and values, priority setting, drive for results, time management
Qualifications for this position are:2 plus supervisory years in a retail environmentAbility to prioritize a variety of tasks with in a fast paced retail settingPrint shop industry experience preferredAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.High School Diploma or equivalent
