Job SummaryResponsible for the processing and reconciling of all payroll-related activity associated with the semi-monthly payroll. Also, responsible for processing and reconciling weekly time files from certain payroll locations. Incumbent will also manage the loading of batch data files to the system as required.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the accuracy and processing of the payroll system input and output. Responsible for the appropriate and accurate reporting of associate earnings including the verification of W2’s with attention to special circumstances, i.e. relocations, life insurance, incentives, 401(k) deductions. Ensure the timely and accurate transmission of all certain payroll related files. Responsible to receive and process large files for payment, such as sales bonus and stock updates.Interfaces with internal and external individuals, departments, divisions, and agencies to answer questions, resolve issues, obtain and share information related to payroll or payroll procedures. Work with other departmental managers in various functions within the company to ensure the payroll department is meeting internal payroll and benefit management needs.Responsible for the review, processing and reconciliation of a portion of the 19 weekly time files.Responsible for accuracy and completeness of payroll processing and procedures, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls. Establishes organization-wide standards and best practices including developing and updating policies, procedures, and workflows. Supervises employees, assigns tasks, reviews work and writes appraisals.Manage flow of reporting from the department to various user groups as required.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree preferred.SAP Payroll and demonstrated Functional Payroll experience a must.Minimum of 6+ years of functional payroll experience and 5+ years of SAP experience.Relocation is not available for this position.
