Near Madison, WI!!!! NORD Gear Corporation is a world leader in the manufacture of industrial power transmission and motion control products located only 20 minutes from downtown Madison! Our continued dramatic growth and expansion has created a need for a highly motivated Application Engineer to join our team.

In this position you will assist NORD employees and Customers in proper selection and use of our products. The core of this position involves continuous learning with regards to product, applications, systems and customer equipment.

Requires an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience, strong computer and the ability to communicate technical concepts in writing and verbally. Knowledge of motors, brakes, gearboxes and/or AC drives and related products is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background.
