Job Description:Job Title: Manager - Ann Taylor University Reports To: Senior Manager, Ann Taylor University Key Interactions: OE partners, Human Resources, Functional Business Partners Summary:Ann Taylor University (ATU) has a unique approach to learning. With the motto, “Taylored to Your Growth”, ATU focuses on an individualized method to development. Core competencies have not been identified or leveraged. Instead, Ann Taylor leverages the Gallup Organization’s research on Strengths and Talent. A simple belief that teaching associates to leverage what they naturally do best will drive greater outcome than just focusing on their weaknesses. With this philosophy, ATU teaches associates how they can reach the same measurable outcome in different ways. This reinforces the need to individualize learning to leverage each associate’s unique talents.The Manager of Ann Taylor University will be responsible for measurement, execution and development of core curriculum and learning facilities. This position will also implement and drive facilitation expertise throughout our extended ATU facilitator population. In this capacity, this position will serve as key consultant and partner to our business leaders relative to driving ATU learning initiatives to produce business results for the core corporate functions and across all store divisions. Key Responsibilities:Measurement Measure effectiveness of learning content in connection with it’s ability to drive performance Use measurement results to drive and influence key stakeholders to embrace ATU learning programs Core Content Utilize instructional design techniques to perform needs assessment, define learning objectives, design and develop learning solutions and measure business impact for core learning programs that relate to the performance management cycle. Stay current on market trends, business challenges and priorities, and deliver OE solutions that support business objectives. Innovate new possibilities and best practices that challenge current thinking and the ability to influence themFacilitation Master facilitator that will lead challenging and thought provoking classroom sessions that drive business performance. Establish, manage and evaluate collaborative relationships with extended ATU facilitator groups: including function and field leadership teams, Gallup facilitator groups and vendor relationships. Daily Operations Create, maintain, and market master training schedules, facilitation needs and enrollments. Monthly reporting of progress, successes and measurement to senior leadership team.Position Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 3- 5 years experience in learning or human resources function Ability to conduct analysis to measure the performance of learning programs to drive business outcomes Proven experience as a lead facilitator - Curriculum design experience Strong business acumen/ performance orientationYears of Experience Required: 3-5 YearsExpected Travel Time: None
