Administrative Assistant-Fireman Community

Reporting into the Executive Director will provide administrative support to Administrative staff as well as assuming responsibility for front desk reception. Provide exceptional customer service and find solutions for residents concerns and requests.

Position Responsibilities:

· Answer telephone and screen calls

· Screen visitors to administrative staff

· Create monthly calendar

· Create weekly newsletter

· Prepare flyers and daily activity schedule

· Input and track maintenance work orders

· Receive inquiries for applications or status of application

· Maintain wait list by processing applicants

· Maintain hospital list

· Order office and copier supplies

· Manage operation and volunteers of G & G Store

· Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent required (College Degree preferred)

· Proficient in English

· Must be professional, proactive, conscientious and detail-oriented

· Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to display sound judgment with a sense of humor and be respectful of residents’ privacy

· Ability to multi-task

· Must be motivated to learn and flexible to change

· Proficient in Windows , Word, Excel, and Power Point

· Understanding of Jewish traditions and prior experience working with seniors is a plus
