Job Description:The Hanover Insurance Group is in search of Actuarial candidates that may be at various stages in their professional career. If you are an excellent communicator, an aggressive learner, and are naturally inquisitive, we can help you advance quickly in an industry that rewards continuous learning and allows you to demonstrate your ability and potential to become a future leader of the organization.To be a successful Actuary at The Hanover, an individual must possess: Strong analytical and decision-making skills Business acumen and excellent communication skills Undergraduate degree in math, business, finance, economics or related field with a minimum 3.2 GPA preferred Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams Superior computer skills (e.g., Excel, Access, SAS)Part of an Actuarial students job is to study for and pass exams in pursuit of the professional designation "Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society".
