Responsible for installation and support of computer platforms, operating system software, networks, and/or productivity tools to meet the needs of the business. Has general knowledge in 1 or more areas. May provide supervision for 1 or more technical support/technical implementation resources. Has a solid understanding of the organization(s) being supported and IT's role in the business mission. May assist with vendor management.

Capable of business and technical engagement to understand technical and business requirements; capable of translating requirements to technical solutions Handling Microsoft Exchange; Blackberry Enterprise Server and enterprise FAX. Operations, administration, support and maintenance in an enterprise capacity. Must provide hands-on work with Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003; Blackberry Enterprise Server and enterprise FAX. Produce documentation scoping technical process and environment architecture. Interface with end-users, peer IT teams and business. Expert experience (5+ years) with Microsoft Active Directory running under Windows 2000/2003. Experience should cover production environments with 3000+ users. Deep knowledge of group policy and its application in a large production environment; OU structures, security, sites/services, DFS, domain controllers, LDAP, routine AD maintenance and tools for maintenance. Expert experience (3-4 years) with Microsoft SMS in a production environment, supporting software deployments and reporting. Critical knowledge is the ability to package software for mass deployments through SMS. Critical knowledge is the ability to write queries. Must be experienced with desktop and server image deployment via SMS. Must know SMS hierarchy, troubleshooting of server agents and client agents, SMS log file analysis, routine SMS maintenance. Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager a plus. Experience (1-2 years) with virtual server technology, VMWare ESX. Experience (1-2) with Microsoft SharePoint Portal and Microsoft IIS. Broad knowledge (5+ years) and proven career experience within Information Technology across a broad range of technical areas. Required Experience
Education - Bachelor's degree; preferred major in engineering or computer focused area Soft Skills Excellent oral and written communications. Ability to develop well written technical documentation, training materials and presentation. Strong presentation skills involving technical and executive audiences.
Desired Skills/Experience Experience in Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 from the following perspectives: design, maintenance, operations and support; experience should cover production environments with 3000+ user mailboxes and with inbound, outbound, OWA/webmail and virus filtering Experience with enterprise level FAX software tied to a Microsoft Exchange environment from the following perspectives: operations, support and maintenance. Experience should cover production environments. Prefer knowledge with Omtool's Genifax. Experience in Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) environments from the following perspectives: operations, support, maintenance and design. Experience must cover production environments with 500+ BES users. Knowledge with BES MDS and policy is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2007 in a clustered and highly available environment; production experience with migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007.
