Accounts Receivable Specialist Temp to Perm

A Distribution Company located in Hudson County, New Jersey is searching for a Temp to Perm Accounts Receivable Specialist with responsibilities as follows:

 

- Application of receivables, including lock box receipts, credit card receipts, and wire transfer payments

- Research and coding of cash receipts to correct accounts

- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

- Prepare manual deposit of checks for bank

- Process client credit card payments and resolve credit card inquiries and disputes

- Research and resolve internal and external customer inquiries

- Manage vendor relations and handle all discrepancies

- Handle all account reconciliation

- Responsible for cash applications

- Generate reports with the anticipated monthly returns

- Generate Time and Expense report on a monthly basis

- Reconcile cash available after petty cash payoffs

- Report the total amount of write off and billed on account figures

- Handle special projects and reports dealing with accounts receivable

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

 

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus

- 1+ years of experience

- Knowledge of general accounting concepts

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

- Good communications, organization, and analytical skills Office Applications
