Accounts Payable Supervisor

Requirements and skills needed include:The position is responsible for managing of the co-sourced payables staff. Focus is on the accurate processing of transactions to the satisfaction of the served business units. Error resolution and trouble shooting with corrective action procedures are a key element of this position.Qualifications:3 or more years of related experience; Bachelor's Degree, business related fields a plus.Progressive supervisory and management work experience in a manufacturing company. Relevant experience includes: Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Information Systems and Customer Service.Accountabilities:1. Supervise a remote staff including recommending and requesting personnel changes.2. Review a payable status, includes both third party intercompany payables.3. Interface with the business served - including Supply Chain, Operations, and other functional areas of the business.4. Vendor master maintenance as it relates to payables functions.5. Escalations and dispute resolutions.6. Oversee funds disbursements via checks, wires, and netting.7. Handle error resolution - including process improvements or changes between the business and suppliers.8.
