Accounting Supervisor - General Accounting & Analysis (Top Co.)
Our client, a solid and diverse SEC company, is seeking to fill an Accounting Supervisor. In this role, you will ensure proper accounting and performance various financial analysis activities. The company fosters a great work/life balance and has a long history of providing solid long-term career growth opportunities and benefits.
Responsibilities include:
1) Assist with the monthly closing process (journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.).
2) Perform financial analysis of budget vs. actual, special projects, and ad-hoc requests from management.
3) Identify process improvement opportunities, assist with implementation of approved changes.
4) Perform special accounting and financial analysis projects as assigned.
5) Coach, mentor and develop assigned staff accountants.

2) 4+ years of public accounting or a private industry experience with a strong knowledge of GAAP accounting
3) Solid leadership skills, experience supervising staff accountants
4) Detail oriented, solid communication skills, motivated to succeed
