Accounting Analyst

A Leading Service Company located in Somerset County, New Jersey is searching for an Accounting Analyst with responsibilities as follows:

 

- Ensure that cash payments are properly recorded and processed in a timely manner for our collection and direct bill accounts

- Create and maintain access generated management reports and excel spreadsheets

- Ensure that premium payments received from the company's lockboxes are processed in an accurate and timely manner

- Process cash uploads for the accounting group

- Process fees from the collection agencies and attorneys

- Maintain cash logs to ensure all funds received in the area are processed into the collections system

- Enter claims deductible recoveries to claim suite

- Perform general ledger account reconciliations

- Assist with special projects where needed

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

 

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

- 3+ years of related experience

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent Microsoft Office applications

 

The total compensation range is from $30,000 to $35,000 with excellent benefits (medical, dental), and 401k plan with match.
