Account Executive--Outside Sales

Business Wire, the global leader in news dissemination, seeks an Account Executive for our Minneapolis bureau to sell services directly to corporations, public relations firms and marketing/communications agencies.

We are seeking a professional to join the sales staff in Minneapolis and handle the responsibilities of maintaining existing accounts and generating new business through outside sales. This sales territory services Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Candidates must have strong presentation, communication and networking skills. A history of new business development and sales strategies is a plus. A familiarity with public relations, investor relations, media and financial markets are also a plus.
