Essential Duties and Responsibilities (others may be assigned): Generate new revenue for Business Wire.  This will include contacting and visiting prospective new accounts in the assigned region, as well as maintaining and upgrading new services to our existing client base.Properly maintain all existing accounts assigned to the Account Executive.
With direction from the Regional Manager, must meet sales and customer service goals in Account Executive's given territory.Possess and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry, our products and services, as well as those of our competitors.Involvement in external professional organizations and events for the promotion of Business Wire and its services.

Minimum qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of business to business sales experience.Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.  Strong business development, customer service, and account management skills.  Knowledge of public and/or investor relations industry and Internet required.Consultative sales experience, preferably in public relations or investor relations a plus. BA/BS strongly preferred.Fun, positive attitude with a great sense of humor!
