Are you seeking to join an organization that has Revolutionary Ideas and is dedicated to transforming the long-term care industry? If so, Signature HealthCARE is the place for you! We are challenging the status quo and bringing about a radical transformation in attitude, quality care and quality of life. We are currently interviewing for an Accounts Payable Associate for the A/P Department located in our Home Office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Summary:Responsible for processing, entering and proofing Accounts Payable vouchers and refunds.  Responsible for generating and distributing checks.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities:· Provides assistance and support to the Director of Accounts Payable and the Accounts Payable Supervisor.· Provides assistance and support to facility Business Office Manager, Bookkeeper and other facility staff.· Receives, date stamps and sorts A/P mail.· Creates and assigns vendor numbers to new vendors as assigned. Verifies that all information required is available and correct before creating new vendor in A/P system.· Processes invoices, expense reports, manual checks and refunds by assigning vendor numbers, verifying sales tax, accuracy of math, authorized signature and reviewing G/L account number coding.· Responsible for requesting vendor W-9 forms, reviewing the W-9 for completeness and entering information to A/P system.· Research invoice problems encountered during voucher processing. Addresses and resolves inquiries concerning vendors and payments with facility staff.· Proofs A/P vouchers against system generated reports and makes necessary corrections before posting.· Responsible for entering all vouchers, including selected recurring payments in A/P system.· Prepares check run for assigned facilities, reviews checks for accuracy and mails checks to vendors or facility.· Responsible for maintaining copies of checks and invoices for asset purchases, projects, insurance and other accounts, as assigned.· Responsible for preparing and boxing vouchers for storage.· Responsible for following all written procedures for job processes within area of responsibility.· Other special projects and duties, as assigned. Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.· One (1) to two (2) years related experience with computerized A/P accounting systems. Position requires computer, ten-key proficiency and spreadsheet skills. Good mathematical abilities, including calculating rates and percentages. Effective verbal and written English communication skills. Demonstrated basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation. Excellent and accurate data entry skills and able to work at a fast pace.  Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives. Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
