PURPOSE OF POSITION: To maintain quality and production schedules including housekeeping, safety and training duties through leadership and direction of Consumables manufacturing personnel.EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree PreferredEXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum 5 years general manufacturing experience.COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: General competencies – strong leadership skills, team facilitation, high quality standards, analysis and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Proficient in the use of computer systems and basic office equipment. Must be able to work proactively and independently.DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Give direction and provide leadership to a group of production assemblers; assign and facilitate tasks and responsibilities.2. Oversee work in progress. Consistently check for problems, product quality and adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring strict compliance to GMP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.3. Prepare line rotation schedules.4. Provide or coordinate training of assemblers as required.5. Maintain production schedules and coordinate headcount requirements with other CNS leads.6. Solve and/or resolve minor personnel issues and interpersonal conflicts between assemblers.7. Maintain an orderly and safe work area.8. Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.9. Interact effectively with all personnel to resolve problems and maximize productivity.10. Serve as a role model and leader to assemblers, displaying professionalism, high quality standards and ethical conduct at all times.
