Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support server farm Linux front end Windows Database back end (35%). Support corporate servers and associated systems (20%). Deploy / Debug new websites and war files from Dev (25%). Admin SQL servers and associated databases (10%). Security testing and monitoring of web farm (10%).QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 6+ years of overall IT experience supporting high bandwidth, high availably server farms. Must have first hand knowledge of load balancer, firewall, and security procedures. Must have some SQL experience. Excellent at Linux shell scripting.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Proven experience deploying and maintaining Apache, Tomcat on Linux Installing, patching, upgrading and securing Linux servers. Experience with supporting windows SQL servers Be able to build, make, install and configure ant tasks.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Knowledge of IP Monitoring and Load balancing software. Skilled Linux shell scripting. Experience with Source Control and Version management regarding Deployments and Deployment scripts. Experience with JRuby, a plusLANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong written and verbal presentation skills are essential.WORK ENVIRONMENT: You will be a front line support person maintaining a critical e-commerce system in a rapidly growing, constantly changing environment.
