PURPOSE OF POSITION: In collaboration with the Manager of Web and New Media and the Oxfam America Unwrapped team, act as the sole/primary provider of programming, comprehensive management and ongoing maintenance for the Oxfam America Unwrapped Web site. Responsible for the management, maintenance and ongoing development of the Oxfam America Unwrapped Web site ( http://www.oxfamamericaunwrapped.com/) and the commensurate systems, vendor relationships, and data analysis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Manage the externally hosted, customized software application, including existing and future enhancements as well as routine user interface updates to support marketing campaigns. Coordinate vendor relationships that comprise the comprehensive product delivery system—order management, fulfillment and customer service. Additionally coordinate with Oxfam’s Donor Services and Communications teams as necessary to ensure smooth product delivery. Facilitate implementation of new features and enhancements to the core software product, in coordination with the application service provider. This includes developing work plans and new feature specifications. Test and troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support for production problems as assigned and required. Maintain thorough documentation of all systems, including software, systems, vendor processes, and financial transaction systems. Implement, maintain and review Google Analytics Web site traffic data, provide data analysis and reports to the rest of the team as necessary. Lead and/or participate in quality assurance analysis before application is released to production including cross-browser/cross-platform testing, product unit testing, and server load testing. Contribute to broader discussions about how to further enhance Oxfam America Unwrapped’s online offerings and participate in visioning processes and the articulation of media strategies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, which includes coursework on internet data and e-commerce systems management, is required.
Â
Experience and Core Competencies: Four years progressively responsible hands-on experience with developing, implementing and maintaining e-commerce Web sites, databases, and customized applications in a professional environment. Strong PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript skills. Solid relational database skills. Experience managing LAMP-based applications. Ability to analyze server log files and track system errors and application bugs. Experience using version control systems such as SVN and code deployment. Proven experience with software testing, including setting up, executing and analyzing results. Knowledge of emerging technology and e-commerce trends, services and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communications skills, including proven experience in written and verbal communications between and among diverse stakeholder groups. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, including managing multiple vendor relationships ranging from fulfillment to financial processing to customer service. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing demands. Strong relationship-building skills required.
