WEB PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary: The incumbent, who reports to the Director of Internet Programs, is responsible for projects and support of day-to-day Web activities for all business areas within the organization. Major responsibilities include: managing ACC’s Web programs and supervising ACC’s customer relationship management (CRM) program through best practices and support of a technical team. She/he assists the Director of Internet Programs with online strategies and projects for all ACC’s Internet and Extranet Programs. Job Description: Under the direction of Director of Internet Programs, manage one or more Web projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements and meet customer satisfaction. Manage the posting of information on ACC websites including review of the site for currency and compliance with style requirements. Manage staff, contractors and/or vendors who serve on the overall Web project initiatives to maintain optimum website functionality, organization, and aesthetic appearance. Apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the user group on issues related to Web usability, design, development, and deployment critical to business operations. Supervise/direct activities in the execution and measurement of CRM programs and working with business-side teams from senior management level to individual contributor level in order to receive, assess, recommend, design, and execute CRM strategies and enhancements as appropriate and providing regular status and update on CRM program. Partner with IT to ensure data integrity and audit reporting to monitor the effectiveness of the CRM system and accuracy of the data quality and ensure consistency of usage and compliance, as well as plan both short- and long-term strategic objectives for CRM programs and continually building and refining customer base and ongoing program management that are consistent with CRM goals and objectives. Assist with implementation of social media/network applications. Serve as liaison with Information Technology staff that provides ACC’s SharePoint, CRM and DNS services. Participates in strategic planning for the ACC’s family of Web sites and Web services. Provides all project-related reporting including status reports, project diagrams and presentations to communicate status to Director of Internet Programs and project stakeholders/owners. Develop collaborative working relationships with members and staff of the organization including key stakeholders and end users. Stay abreast on best practices and emerging technologies and trends and recommends best solutions to improve effectiveness. Work on special projects or other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Three years of Web project management and CRM experience Knowledge of Internet architecture, technologies and applications, including but not necessarily limited to: HTML, FTP, Web Browsers, CSS, Flash, CMS, SharePoint, PhotoShop, Adobe Acrobat and various media players

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of relational databases design concepts and data management a plus Knowledge of Web standards, usability practices, current browser technology and search engine optimizations Strong understanding of principles of Social Networking and Web 2.0 applications Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate technology concepts to non-technology personnel Proficient with the Windows operating environment and applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Skill in organizing and prioritizing of work and following assignments through to completion Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and outside contacts Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment Education/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent experience in IT environment required
