HELP USA, a nationally recognized leader in the provision of transitional housing, residential and social services has the following opportunities available at its newly acquired site located on Wards Island:



 

Director of Placement Services

Ensures all mandated services are delivered in a timely manner and documented by program personnel; audits the (digital) Case Management system on a daily basis to ensure information is accurate and timely; ensures all clients are housing-ready within mandated time frames; ensures housing resources are identified to meet the needs of client population and that site exceeds placement targets. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related required; Master’s preferred. Minimum 7 years experience.



 

Clinician

Provides mental health services for residents and their children including long and short-term counseling and crisis intervention with individuals, families and groups. Will conduct intake assessments for new families/residents; collaborate with staff at other HELP USA sites to provide clinical services; advocate for and assist families/individuals in the negotiation of the service delivery system, to ensure receipt of appropriate clinical services and related services. Master’s in Social Work or related degree required with experience.



 

Team Leader

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: directly supervising Case Managers, Employment Specialists, Housing Specialists, Substance Abuse Counselors, Continuing Care Workers, and Clinical Social Workers; monitoring and completing the tasks related to time and attendance, annual performance evaluations, and related salary enhancements; identifying, implementing, and documenting staff development issues including, but not limited to, ensuring staff completion of agency-mandated courses, core curriculum, and other indicated training. MSW or Master’s Degree in a related field with clinical focus required. Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience.
