Site Director - Residential Addiction Services
The Educational Alliance, a 501 (3) (c) nonprofit located in lower Manhattan, seeks an experienced, dedicated and dynamic Director to plan and coordinate all phases of residential services, including supervision of staff/interns, provision of direct services to clients in the 60-bed residential facility for mandated and non-mandated adult males struggling with chemical dependencies.

This talented Social Work professional will provide leadership, supervision and training to professional and senior staff; develop new clinical and comprehensive service approaches to treatment; ensure development and implementation of treatment plans, oversee initial needs assessments, respond to all emergency/crisis situations and supervise induction enrollment and outreach; provide individual counseling services and facilitate psycho-educational and process group sessions, maintain clinical records, participate in case reviews and conferences; work cooperatively with other program discipline Directors, including Training and Vocational Services to ensure the coordinated and comprehensive delivery of services to clients; monitor the therapeutic environment and assure client compliance with all program rules and regulations.

The Director will also ensure program adherence to the contractual and regulatory requirements; manage program budget, oversee purchasing and disbursement of all monies & petty cash; participate in the staff recruitment and selection, prepare annual training plans for staff, provide clinical supervision and conduct annual staff evaluations; maintain program manuals and assume overall responsibilities for physical plant.
Qualifications:
LCSW with at least five years of experience in supervision, program development, regulatory/contractual oversight and site management in residential or outpatient Addiction Services/Mental Health Services required. Must be willing to obtain SIFI to supervise MSW students. Ability to function independently, attend to detail, work under pressure, and effectively coordinate a comprehensive array of clinical, vocational/educational, and other services to address the multiple needs of substance abusers in residential treatment. Ability and willingness to provide on-going training and professional development to staff and interns. Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations relating to substance abuse programs. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to work as part of a team. Knowledge of MS Office and Lotus Notes applications.
