Description of Duties:
Schedule residential staff and assure proper member to staff ratio.
Conduct staff supervision meetings.
Provide guidance to residential staff with problem solving and conflict resolution.
Ensure the appropriate training of new staff and the on-going training of existing staff as it relates to daily operation of REACH sites.
Assist APD in the preparation of staff performance evaluations.
Ensure the program complies with contract and licensing requirements, CARF, Medicaid and internal quality assurance standards.
Review and monitor daily shift log and medical log.
Review all incident reports and ensure APD/PD receive reports within DCFS allotted time frame.
Ensure all shift summary notes are accounted for weekly.
Request and account for necessary supplies for both the staff office and member apartments.
Attend and participate in assigned trainings, conferences, treatment team and site supervisor meetings.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
3 years or more in working in the child welfare field as it pertains to residential or transitional living programs.
Experience in working with youth or adults diagnosed with mental health disorders.
Degree in psychology, social work or other related field.
Past supervisory experience a plus.
Strong written, oral and communication skills a must.
Requirements, Responsibilities and/or Duties Unique to the Position:
Driver's license, automobile and 100/300 auto liability insurance required
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree in psychology, social work or related field
