SPECIAL EVENTS & PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Company Profile: UCP of Miami is an affiliate of United Cerebral Associations, Inc., a national voluntary health agency with state and local affiliates throughout the country. UCP is an organization which includes charter schools, daycare centers, after school, preschools, adult training programs, supported living, supported employement and group homes residential services for developmentally disabled people, in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. The organization's leadership and funding are derived from the community and government sources.
Job Profile: As the Special Events and Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating University of Miami Greek Week event, cultivating University of Miami relationships, Corporate Volleyball Challenge, Florida Marlins Charity Night and assist with the coordination of Golf Tournament and Chef's Tasting Party. In addition, assists with the coordination of Raising More Money campaign events. Updates and manages the UCP of South Florida website and updates the annual department emergency handbook. Coordinates production of monthly E-newsletter and annual newsletter. Responsible for preparing daily bank deposits and maintaining donor data base. Assists with other campaigns and events as assigned.
Job Requirements:The successful team player must have a the ability to plan and coordinate fund raising events and campaigns independently. Must be able to develop and market event sponsorship proposals. Previous development experience preferred. Must have excellent organizational and computer skills. Ability to multi task and work well under pressure. Willing to travel throughout South Florida and work evenings and weekends as necessary. Must have reliable transportation. Must meet Agency for Person with Disabilities background requirements. Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience is required.
