Rehabilitation Specialist - 350 Lafayette

The CUCS Transitional Living Community (TLC), a national leader in the development of effective housing and service initiatives for homeless people, seeks a Rehab Specialist for its Soho-located TLC.  The TLC is a nationally recognized model for helping mentally ill homeless people acquire housing.

This is an advanced case management position requiring strong practice skills, resource knowledge, ability to function with greater autonomy, and assume greater responsibility on the team for problem-solving and program development.  The program services include: transitional housing for 43 women, comprehensive case management, group treatment, on-site psychiatric and medical services, and housing placement.

BSW + 1 year experience (excluding fieldwork); BA and 2 years; HS Diploma (or GED) + 7 years experience providing direct service to the specific population(s). Good writing and verbal communication skills, computer literacy.
