Regional Director of Major Gifts

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America, the nation's largest wish granting organization, is launching an unprecedented endowment campaign to raise funds that will allow the organization to grant even more wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.  The first wish was granted 28 years ago in Phoenix, Arizona - location of the national headquarters for the organization.  Since then, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America has granted 161,000 wishes.  The foundation is currently seeking a Regional Director of Major Gifts, located in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.  Responsibilities include cultivation and solicitation of $50,000+ major gifts.  Qualifications include a minimum of five years of progressive major gifts experience securing gifts via face-to-face fundraising and also working with fundraising volunteers.  Must be willing to travel 50% of the time to meet with prospects, donors, local Make-A-Wish chapters and the national office in Phoenix.
