Recovery Specialist (job #4119)

Catholic Charities Genesis II, a substance abuse treatment program in Newton, MA for women and their children, is looking to hire a full-time Recovery Specialist. Reporting to the program director, recovery specialists are responsible for helping ensure the safety of families. Other responsibilities include: completing documentation in the client files, providing supportive services and supervision to families, accompanying and/or transporting clients/children on trips outside of the program when needed.

A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license are required. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and populations affected by substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8-4.
