Raiser’s Edge Database Manager
Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) is the nation’s largest lymphoma-focused voluntary health organization devoted exclusively to funding research to cure all lymphomas and providing patients and healthcare professionals with critical information on the disease. To date, LRF has funded $34.7 million in lymphoma research. People affected by lymphoma can receive free personalized information tailored to their diagnosis, help with finding a clinical trial, and easy-to-understand information on lymphoma, current treatments and promising research.
LRF has an immediate opening for a Raiser’s Edge Database Manager at our New York City National Office. The Raiser’s Edge Database Manager will have primary responsibility for the overall management of the Raiser’s Edge database. This includes managing all facets of information inflow and outflow, ensuring the integrity of the database. This position reports directly to the Director of Development.
Applicants must possess the following skills:
· Working knowledge of Windows – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, PowerPoint and Outlook.
· Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
· Ability to interact with staff/board members and chapter volunteers of different levels and backgrounds.
· Exceptional organizational skills with a pleasant and positive attitude.
· Hard working, detail oriented, and able to work quickly and efficiently with time sensitive material. Able to meet deadlines.
· Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years demonstrated successful experience as a Database Manager working with Raiser’s Edge required.
· Prior non-profit experience a plus.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Review data entry for constituent and gift information for all fundraising projects. Post approved cash receipt batches to Raiser’s Edge.
· Produce mail merge and lists for Development thank you letters daily.
· Create and update database queries as required by staff.
· Produce constituent and gift reports.
· Generate mailing lists and data exports.
· Maintain data accuracy, including mass/global updating of constituent information.
· Create and maintain database standard operating procedures manual.
· Support all end users, accommodating their needs including training.
· Manage software upgrades and Raiser’s Edge/Kintera synchronization.
· Special projects as assigned.
