Proposal Development Specialist
Project HOPE, an international, non-profit health education organization in the US, seeks a Proposal Development Specialist to support the Development & Communications division. The person in this role will manage the research and grant writing process for corporate and private foundation donors and prospects, as well as coordinate the donor reporting and stewardship process. Primary responsibilities will include acting as principal liaison with the Global Health division on project information for proposals, reporting and other communication purposes, researching donors and prospects and proposing strategies, leading the development of presentations for meetings, maintaining donor files, and assisting with the preparation of concept papers and proposals.
The successful candidate will have:
· Bachelors degree required
· Minimum of 3-5 years of on-the-job writing experience, preferably for a general audience; Experience working for a non-profit organization desirable
· Demonstrated competence with internet research and computer applications (Powerpoint, Access, Excel, Word)
· Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure; Excellent written and oral communication skills
