Mental Health Worker
Bay Cove Human Services is a private, not-for-profit corporation that provides a wide variety of services to individuals and their families who face the life-long challenges of developmental disabilities, aging, mental illness and drug and alcohol addiction. We have a wide variety of programs available to our clients including residential services, employment support, and day habilitation programs. Bay Cove's 1,400 highly trained employees serve more than 12,000 individuals and their families each year at more than 100 different program sites throughout Greater Boston and southeastern Massachusetts.

Mental Health Worker
Requisition #3069Mental Health Worker (BEST CSU, Boston)Schedule: Weekdays and weekends: 8a-4p and 4p-12aSalary: 14.25/hr
Responsibilities:Provide direct services to all clients in the Crisis Stabilization Unit(CSU)to ensure for their safety and promote overall stability and wellness.Implement crisis stabilization plans and follow all safety protocols.Offer a range of activities to teach improved coping skills and readiness for transition into community based outpatient services.Offer psychoeducational groups in relapse prevention and management, symptom and behavioral management, pragmatic solving and health promotion. Qualifications:
BA/BS in Human Services or related fields preferred.1 year experience in mental health and substance abuse required. Driving License Required? No
