Marketing Manager - Orange Catholic Foundation
This position plans, organizes and manages a comprehensive program to promote charitable giving from private sources for the programs of the Orange Catholic Foundation. This individual works extensively with volunteers and coordinates solicitations through mail, telephone and face-to-face campaigns. Additionally, this individual promotes the foundation through electronic media and the Internet. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field; minimum of five years experience in a fund raising, marketing or public relations setting; prior experience in the coordination and professional development of a team of approximately 50 volunteers;  minimum  five years working experience in Microsoft applications; must be a confirmed, active, practicing Catholic with knowledge and understanding of the Roman Catholic faith and Church structure (hierarchy, religious heritage, mission).  Abilities required include, but are not limited to the following: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well with others; ability to organize, delegate, set schedules, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and with other members of the department in a team setting; ability to read, write, analyze and interpret business correspondence; ability to write reports and effectively present information in a public setting to internal and external audiences; ability to utilize donor database software for analysis, reports and presentations; ability to develop and coordinate a web-based marketing plan; proven project management ability leadership and management ability; willingness and ability to travel, almost exclusively within the boundaries of the Catholic Diocese of Orange.  Skills required include, but are not limited to the following:  Multi-level relationship building skills; excellent teaching and training skills; good time-management skills; excellent PC skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Access.  Â
